RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Print orders for shipping
  • Route and schedule released shipments.
  • Update routing procedures with changes
  • Send e-mails for quotes on volume shipments
  • Print labels, verify accuracy of order information, and generate export documents and Bill of Ladings
  • Enter orders into WMS (Oracle & Tan data systems)
  • Process outgoing orders in system and print documents
  • Direct deliveries/drivers to correct location
  • Assist Material Handlers with moving outgoing finished goods and incoming components
  • Loading/unloading trucks as needed
  • Route collect orders on customer website
  • Pack, schedule and process customer routed orders
  • Pack and process UPS orders as needed
  • Enter freight cost data to excel report

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • High School education or equivalent experience
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 65 pounds
  • Familiar with shipping forms i.e. BOL
  • Familiar with operating forklift or certification
